Conducting research

Here you will find pipelines, workflows, tips, and suggestions to conduct research using any of the imaging modalities available at CIBIT.

Register at EURO-BIOIMAGING

Create an account at eurobioimaging.eu/login (EURO-BIOIMAGING uses elixir to identify you).

The access application procedure involves 4 steps: 1. Select Technology, 2. Application, 3. Proposal Status, 4. Feedback.

note: if after the first step, the interface does NOT show the form, please repeat step one in an incognito/private mode of your browser - don’t forget to log in.

1. Select Technology

On the dashboard, click ACCESS TECHNOLOGIES. Second, select > START ACCESS PROPOSAL. Then, click on > BEGIN NEW ACCESS PROPOSAL

There are two alternatives to start “access proposal”, option 1 - start by selecting the technology, option 2 - select the country and navigate through the services available.

After the selection of the service(s) required, click > CONFIRM SELECTION AND CONTINUE

2. Application - proposal details

Fill in the form. . Research Project title . Name of your PI . Email . Brief description of the project (5000 chars) . Resources required for the project available at the node . Expertise level

If applying for funding you will need to add a short cv, general information on data management a brief statistical analysis plan.

When ready, click SAVE AND CONTINUE.

3. Proposal status - review & terms and conditions

Revise the proposal and confirm all data submitted.

If all is ok, click SUBMIT.

If all correct, you should receive a note with the following information -

Thank you!

Your proposal has been successfully submitted.

Proposal ID: ****

You can view and check the status of your proposal at any time from your “Access proposal list” under “Access technologies”. You can also submit multiple proposals.

4. Feedback

On your dashboard, under access technologies, you should be able to see your submitted proposal under > ACCESS PROPOSAL LIST
