Office 365

  • Office 365 is available free of charge to students and employees enrolled at the University of Coimbra (UC).

  • UC’s login (ucXXXXX@uc.pt, ucXXXXXXXXXX@student.uc.pt, etc) provides access to Office 365 services (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive with 1TB online storage, etc)

Using Office 365

  1. Go to https://office.com. [Help]

  2. Login with your UC email and click Next. [Help]

  3. You will be automatically forwarded to a UC webpage asking your UC login credentials and authorization to share your UC login credentials with Office 365 services. [Help]

  4. After being logged in, you will have access to Office 365 on-line portal, where you will be able to find the different Office 365 services. [Help]

  5. You can use Office 365 services on-line or install into your computer or mobile devices. During the installation of software/apps you may be asked for your Office 365 login credentials.

  6. You can install Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) on up to 5 simultaneous PCs or Macs and on other mobile devices (Android, iOS). Other Office365 software/apps don’t have any installation restrictions. You can manage Office installations on your profile at https://office.com. [Help]
