Backups

You can request the creation of a backup account in the institution server, either individual or for a project, via the following procedure:

1. Access the shared file for registering your request here (requires GitHub authentication).
2. Edit the sheet REQUESTS, either to request an individual backup account or a backup folder for a project (or access to the backup of an existent project). To request backup folders for projects you must have an individual backup account in the server. The sheet is pretty intuitive to use, you can follow the previous requests there, but feel free to contact admins.
3. The IT team is responsible for managing the backup system and creating the accounts. They will address pending requests as soon as possible, and you will be contacted with account information.
4. You can access the backup system in the following addresses:
   • If you are based at ICNAS: \192.168.0.150\
   • If you are based at iCBR: \192.168.1.21
     Individual users’ backup folders can only be accessed by the account owner, while projects’ backup folders can be accessed by all users that have been granted access (through request in the shared file).

NOTE: The backup space is limited, please be sensible.
