Background
- Maria J. Ribeiro completed her BSc in physics in 1996 by the University of Porto and obtained her DPhil in neurosciences in 2003 by the University of Sussex. Currently, Maria is a researcher at the Coimbra Institute for Clinical and Biomedical Research (iCBR), Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra and the Coimbra Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Translational Research (CIBIT), ICNAS, University of Coimbra. Her research contributes towards unveiling the neural mechanisms behind perception, decision making and actions in humans, in both health and disease, using non-invasive neuroimaging techniques and physiological recordings.
